About Us

Dr. Don Johnson

Dr. Don was born and raised right here in El Dorado. Dr. Don graduated from Norphlet High School in 1992. He attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston and Southern Arkansas University before moving to Dallas, Texas to attend Parker College of Chiropractic (Now known as Parker University). Dr. Don graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in the Fall of 1998. After graduation, Dr. Don moved back to El Dorado to begin practicing. Dr. Don has also had practices in Fayetteville, Georgia as well as Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Don moved back home for good in 2008 and put down roots.

Dr. Don enjoys fitness, watching football, martial arts, hunting, reading, Bible study, traveling and relaxing with his family. Dr. Don is married to Kari Bates Johnson and they have  3 children. Dr. Don and Kari are members at Immanuel Baptist church and are active in ministries there including Operation Christmas Child which sends thousands of shoe boxes to children filled with day to day items as well as a booklet that shares the Gospel of Jesus.

Dr. Jacob Smith

El Dorado Chiropractor, Dr. Jacob Smith, D.C. was born in Start, Louisiana and graduated from Riverfield Academy in Rayville, Louisiana in 2003. He then went on to complete his Bachelor of General Studies from University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2008. Dr. Smith was a member of the ULM Baseball team from 2003-2005. Dr. Smith went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Daytona, Florida.

Dr. Jacob Smith is an active member of the El Dorado Community. He coaches Boys and girls Club Soccer, along with American Legion Baseball. Dr. Smith has also made it his goal to educate the community on the importance of a wellness lifestyle, along with a proper diet, exercise, and healthy mental attitude.


Dr. Smith’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, watching football, hunting, fishing, golf, working out, and playing ball. Dr. Jacob Smith is married to Rachel Stover Smith, an El Dorado native. They serve at Wyatt Baptist Church.
